Personality:

Lithuania is, particularly at first glance, very serious. He's usually out working--farming, making arrows, swordfighting--and whenever he's doing a task he wants to do it well, so he comes across in this manner. Particularly so young, Lithuania feels he has to work extra hard to make everything work right. At this time he's also under near-constant assault from his neighbors, particularly the Livonian Order and Teutonic Knights, so he has a lot to worry about.

And he does tend to worry about things. It's better to know ahead of time what's going to happen and be prepared, therefore Lithuania often thinks of things to get worried about before they come up. It's another reason he's often quite and distracted. In fact, Lithuania is prone to daydreaming in general, often causing him to blurt out the first thing that comes to mind, no matter how odd or rude it might be.

The third reason for this is his introversion--in fact, it's a bit of shyness too. Although he can approach and talk to people if he has to, he's quite wary until he warms up to someone. Right now Lithuania is rather alone; while he's made up of various loosely united tribes at the moment, he doesn't really have anyone else like him to spend time with yet. It's hard to make friends when your neighbors are weird and/or keep attacking you.

That's not to say Lithuania is serious and worried all the time, though. He's got a lot of energy and he loves using it to run around, often in forests and fields because that's where he has the most space. Given enough time to relax he'll play around as any child will, he's just quicker to retreat back into seriousness about it than most.

Speaking of playing, Lithuania at the moment has a short attention span for activities where he has to sit still. Everything interesting seems to involve moving around, so unless he has a good reason to sit quietly, he'll wander off. Trying to force him to sit still when he's decided he doesn't want to only makes him more insistent about leaving.

In fact, Lithuania is quite stubborn and proud in general. He's small still, and just a group of tribes, but he's proud of what he has and he doesn't like being forced into something. He's capable of playing along if he thinks it will get someone to leave him alone, but as soon as the person in question isn't looking he'll go back to doing whatever he wants to do. He's quite compatative in general when he feels like being disagreeable, and he's got more skill than a child would by nature of not being human.

Overall, Lithuania is a sweet child. He'll help those who need it and stay quiet and out of the way doing his own thing. It's only when pressed he lashes out, out of stubborn refusal to be denied what he wants. Lithuania would much rather be a peaceful farming nation than go to war, although he recognizes the necessity of it at times. If given a choice, he will try to pick the peaceful option, try to cooperate, and try to make friends. While he is wary, if someone looks like they need a friend or help, he'll do his best to provide. Things work better that way, after all.

Notes:

I would like Lithuania to be placed in the same school as Estonia and Latvia. And personally, I prefer swords to shields. Also, I'll volunteer Lithuania as a player for the first round!
